There's a few stains in my daddy's truck from the chocolate milk I spilled
I was just six, but he was pissed, and I sure did hear some hell
Yeah, there's a few dents in the dashboard, some scratches on the side
But when my high school crush climbed up, she sure didn't seem to mind

And we went cruisin' every back road, slidin' over real close
Speedin' by every stop sign
I had a couple beers, but man, I won't forget the way she looked that night
She was ridin' up in my passenger seat, starin', smilin' at me

Then she went off to college and I just went to work
I drove across town every day, 6 a.m. haulin' dirt
When she came back for a short while, stopped by and said hi
