Scottsdale Christmas

It's a Scottsdale Christmas for me
There won't be any snow in the palm trees
There's a plastic Santa on my neighbor's lawn
I kind of want it gone
Cuz something just feels wrong
When December isn't cold enough to frost
I just feel cheated
I just feel lost
All these fancy lights are overpriced just like your private school
So I'll be spending Scottsdale Christmas by the pool

From Old Town to Fashion Square, I just don't care
I've seen my bank account go down and I'm well aware
But scorpions and snakes both hibernate
So I guess that's cool
And I'll be spending Scottsdale Christmas by the pool
