Christmas (The Lord Is Born)

It was cold outside
So they searched for warmth
For the child to be born

Knocking on all doors and getting declined
But, the Spirit of the Lord helped them find

The kindest people to let them use
A stable with plenty of animal views
Each one so friendly and excited to see
The coming of the Lord, so thankfully

Joseph was helpful and held mary
She cried as the baby came out with glee
The Holy Spirit opened their eyes to see
And the northern star was shining above proudly

Oh yes, it's Christmas today
And let us celebrate this special day
Thank God for everything, for being born
In Bethlehem, when it was not warm

Oh yes, it's Christmas today
And let's not forget why it's a holiday
The Lord is born for us each day
And that's the best present you can have
Hooray

Everyone wanted to see the king
There came three wise men, offering sweet gifts to him
All crowded around, the angels started to sing
With love and devotion
Warming up their wings

At his nativity
Big smiles filled the room
He was a tender baby coming out of the blessed womb
Laying in his manger, there was peace on Earth
Although at first they felt danger
Mary gladly gave birth
Yeah

It's Christmas, It's Christmas
Everyone, it's Christmas
It's Christmas, It's Christmas
Oh yeah, it's Christmas
It's Christmas, It's Christmas
Everyone, it's Christmas
The Lord is born

It's Christmas, It's Christmas
Everyone, it's Christmas
It's Christmas, It's Christmas
Oh yeah, it's Christmas
It's Christmas, It's Christmas
Everyone, it's Christmas
The Lord is born

Oh yes, it's Christmas today
And let us celebrate this special day
Thank God for everything, for being born
In Bethlehem, when it was not warm

Oh yes, it's Christmas today
And let's not forget why it's a holiday
The Lord is born for us each day
And that's the best present you can have
Hooray

Everyone wanted to see the king
There came three wise men, offering sweet gifts to him
All crowded around, the angels started to sing
With love and devotion
Warming up their wings

At his nativity
Big smiles filled the room
He was a tender baby coming out of the blessed womb
Laying in his manger, there was peace on Earth
Although at first they felt danger
Mary gladly gave birth
Yeah

Don't forget what we celebrate today, woah
