I was standing at the edge of the world, ready to throw myself of it
When just like that film they always play at Christmas a man just appeared and said
"You're loved more than you could ever dream of
And this season is the time you should know it
But the people you love they have no idea, forget suicide- go home and show it!"

And I know this girl and she's my whole world
She puts colour in this black and white town
And I'd lasso the moon for her, do anything and one day I'll tell her so
And I got these friends, they'd do anything for me
You wouldn't understand a word they say I swear it
And If I ever lose them I've got my family, I couldn't pick another if you made me

So I woke up the next morning, not sure if I dreamed it
I pushed the snow from my window, asked a stranger what day was today?
He told me in an unconvincing cockney accent today was Christmas day
So I threw on a housecoat, and I ran out in the snow to tell everyone

It's a wonderful life so keep living
