If You Met a Yeti

If you met a Yeti
Just what would you do?
Would you chase him through the trees
And hit him with your shoe?
Or would you run the other way
As fast as you could go?
And leave this old abominable snowman to his snow

If I met a Yeti
Here's what I would do
I'd quickly gallop through the trees
Until my face was blue
And when my legs were tired
And I couldn't carry on
I think I'd climb the tallest tree
And wait till he was gone

Cos a Yeti's big and hairy
And ugly as can be
He leaves his great big footprints
For everyone to see
And people call him Bigfoot
But never to his face
Coz if you tried to race him
You would never win the race

If I met a Yeti
Here's what I would do
I'd have him round for supper
And we'd share a joke or two
We'd talk about the weather
And here's how the story ends
Me and hairy bigfoot
Would become the best of friends

If you met a Yeti
Just what would you do?
Would you tell him go away
By shouting at him 'shoo'?
Or would you try escaping
Just as fast as you could go?
And leave that old abominable snowman to his snow

Cos a Yeti's big and hairy
And ugly as can be
He leaves his great big footprints
For everyone to see
And people call him big-foot
But never to his face
Coz if you tried to race him
You would never win the race
So if you meet a yeti
Here's what you should do
Bring him into town
Buy him a brand new pair of shoes
Then take him to the forest
And make sure you let him know
That you're leaving the abominable snowman to his snow

Cos a Yeti's big and hairy
And ugly as can be
He leaves his great big footprints
For everyone to see
And people call him big-foot
But never to his face
Coz if you tried to race him
You would never win the race
