Sin is disobedience, what does the good book say
It's pretty clear on lots of topics, how is there room for change
Apparently, far from the past our God is different today
As long as you say a little prayer you can still do the same
I don't believe that, and neither should you, take up your cross
I'm not saying that is easy, there's a price it'll cost
You can't live your own way, you were purchased by grace
Bloodshed means you got to clean your heart and your head
But don't you worry, it's made easy, you don't do that alone
That's the Holy Spirit's job to clean you up for the throne
Looking spotless before God after this life's gone
Good job, my faithful servant, you can come on home
