Clown Jam

Mom bought a clown and she set it right down
On the chair at the end of my bed
He's creepy, that clown with his head falling down
To the side of the chair right there
He stares into the night, he gives me a fright
Sends a chill up and down my spine
To give me a clown for comfort or friend
Freaks me out to the frickin' end

Go away, stupid clown! You're bringing me down!
Begone if you're wise... or I'll give you a surprise!

My friends come around and they look at that clown
He's distracting from our play
Go back to the chair, betrayed by the shine
Why's he smiling all the time?
And if they stay it seems better outside
'Cause the clown... No, he's not there
To give me a clown for comfort or friend
Freaks me out till the frickin' end

Go away, stupid clown! You're bringing me down!
Begone if you're wise... or I'll give you a surprise!

Mom bought a clown and she set it right down
In the chair at the end of my bed
He's creepy, that clown with his head falling down
To the side of the chair right there
He stares into the night, he gives me a fright
And a chill up and down my spine

To give me a clown for comfort or friend
Freaks me out till the frickin' end
Go away, stupid clown! You're bringing me down!
Begone if you're wise... or I'll gouge out those eyes!
Here's hoping that it never comes this way again...
