Bits 'n Pieces

Back in de time when even I was young
Playing with some friends out of the neighbourhood
Born and living in the same village I grew up
Not much to do, compared to now

Fragments of your memory
Remember the good things
Everyone has their own story
In whole or in bits 'n pieces

On my bike in the bush lane
A bend to the left and then to the right
Up and down the hills, until you fel or caught
In barbed wire

Making the track different all the time
With springboards over a ditch
The same one in which you caught some fish
Until they usually died

I tried to stay dry all afternoon
Quite a challenge, given the above
At least you couldn't go home that wet
Drying up or skipping dinner

Fragments of your memory
Remember the good things
Everyone has their own story
In whole or in bits 'n pieces

Looking for bullets on the infantry camp
Or built a hut in places nobody knew
They were all discovered and destroyed
With the broken pieces

Reading, LEGO, electric race track
Magic tricks, or a quartet game
Game of the goose or Ludo
Play it Johnny

Fragments of your memory
Remember the good things
Everyone has their own story
In whole or in bits 'n pieces

Fragments of your memory
Remember the good things
Everyone has their own story
In whole or in bits 'n pieces

Fragments of your memory
