The Hill

Day drinking in the street
I told you all about a monument, you wanted to see
And you followed me

Walking up, I'm your tour guide
And you wanna know how do we wander right

It takes a hill to climb
It takes a bad year to get it right
It takes some risk to find
A little space you can share your time

You're headed off to a sanctuary in the summer you met me
To meet some elephants
Hanging back and talking deep
Like where did you come from and what do you believe

Waking up, I hear you breathing fast
And I can't help but wonder just how long a dream can last

It takes some rest to know
I wrote it out in the car ride home

Spent my day in the dark
A little movement and they call it art
