The Tale of Babylon, Pt. I

Ev'ry night, the King of Babylon
Will go abroad and find a man
Who's skin is pale and death is imminent
And he will try to rescue him

So ev'ry night, the King of Babylon
Will choose a man, who's end is near
And cast a spell to make him well
And is feted by his gracious folk

The King of Babylon, the King of Babylon
The King of Babylon, the King of Babylon
The King of Babylon, the King of Babylon
The King of Babylon, the King of Babylon

And so ev'ry night, the slave of Babylon
Would paint his face for the king's grace
And remind himself, that he is one
With the universe and all himself

So ev'ry night, the King of Babylon
Would scan the street for naked feet
And enact a law that will strike with awe
And help a poor man out his fate
More on that story later
Now we continue with self-evaluation
