Halloween Storytime Rap
Yo, lemme tell you a story
I was leaving a Halloween party
Where I was turnin' up Halloween style
Before we all got scared, we're all hearty
There was lots of fun and smiles
But once the clock hit midnight
Something changed in all sights
I had to walk home all by myself
But I wasn't gonna run for my life
I ain't scared of no ghosts, what
I ain't scared of no fools, what
You don't want a piece of me, what
And I ain't scared of no ghouls, what
Everywhere I went, streetlights were on
Mini house parties in the neighborhood
Winds were blowing and wolves were howling
I guess I felt a bit shooked
On the way home, I saw a cemetery
It was foggy and looked a bit scary
But it'll take more than that to scare me
Never will surrender and say "spare me"
All of a sudden, I hear a voice
Calling from a further distance
Come to find out, it's my boys
Must've thought I went missin'
They caught up and walked with me
Walking and walking and talked with me
On the way home, we passed a house
People in the house played music loud
Me and the homies started jamming
Shoulda saw how much fun we were havin'
And as we were dancing
Something unexpected happened
An old lady opened the front door, shouting
"Get off the front porch, you freaks"
One of my homies took off runnin'
That lady sure had him freaked out
Then, the rest of us ran
Tryna get away as fast as we could
At one point, I was alone
Never tryna see that house again for good
I made it home and locked all the doors
Locked all my windows and turned off all the lights
I was so shooked, I didn't wanna see more
I was having one heck of a night
Who am I kiddin'? I was scared
What was I thinkin' on Halloween night
Come to find out, it was all a nightmare
Waking up to see the bright blue skies
Happy Halloween
I was leaving a Halloween party
Where I was turnin' up Halloween style
Before we all got scared, we're all hearty
There was lots of fun and smiles
But once the clock hit midnight
Something changed in all sights
