Curtain Call

Our original idea for this song
For this finale
Was to use an orchestra to move people
We figured the more we had the better
But as we started making it
We were not happy with it
We've been debating with what to do with this song
For about a year
But I think we figured it out

Curtain call
Take a step
Wait for the cheer
Can't wait for curtains to call
Hold your breath
But no one to hear
As your curtains fall
What is left
What's left to fear
And maybe after all
Curtain call was never quite as clear
Maybe the show was as much of a show as it appeared

Looking back on advice
And what had helped me decide
The person that I'm today
How it could change overnight
What if I'm not enough
Is it worth it at all
How could we ever get big
If we always stay small
Everyday every life
So many things to decide
Every person has their burdens
That they want to deny
But at the end of it all
Are you proud of who you've become
Just because your curtain calls
Doesn't mean you're done
Doesn't mean you're done
No it doesn't mean you're done
No it doesn't mean you're done

Our time is up and we've drawn near
We've given all we've got and we hope you hear
After all this is us this is real
When we say goodbye it'll be alright without us here

For those of you who've lost their way
And those who've broke you still remain
This goes to you and you can set the stage
You wrote the page
So break a leg

Our time is up and we've drawn near
We've given all we've got and we hope you hear
After all this is us this is real
When we say goodbye it'll be alright without us here
When we say goodbye it'll be alright without us here
When we say goodbye it'll be alright without us here
When we say goodbye it'll be alright without us here

When we say goodbye it'll be alright without us here
