Here we go again with another long year ahead
Cruising through the months I'll try to make the best of it
A young man, oblivious from what's to come
A clear line of sight there's no battles to be won
Open up a new page in the book of life
The earth pull will roll me with the tide
In less than a month that'll all come crashing down
Apocalyptic state is how we'll all be found

If we can't accept what we get
Well never find true peace among friends

Moments later and the world has turned upside down
I'll roam through the streets of an unholy ghost town
The futures bright with a few weeks of isolation
If I'm honest I have been somewhat complacent
It may sound kinda fucked up to be said
But the last few months alone are the best I've ever had
And if I had a chance to do it all again

To my own surprise I have kept my head held high
Despite what's going on my body's still kicking on
Once an album of memories to be made
Now the books complete I have filled every page
It's time to close it all now I'm moving on
