Every time I hear of a poor poet
Another mourning passes by
Time will tell that he is a great poet
Another moment passes by

Here are words and deeds
"You're a verbal reed"
Another mortal passes by
I would say that he really saw a grave threat
Another morphine passes by

He never saved his time
As we lose our time in time
Who writes his obituary in my timeline?

Every time I search out his work as a poet
Another warning passes by
If you waste your time, you shall later know it
Another morning passes by

He never sold his time

Who knows he's a sanctuary in my lifetime?

Every time I read a newspaper
Another poet passes by
Everybody forgets to sing a new song
Another word dies and passes by
