Glitter

The closet door and all it seemed to mean
Her rows of blue shoes and scars taped to the ceiling
Now I sort poems upon the fridge where she can fix me
With flying cars and suture sessions in the dark

She tried too many lights and gamboled in glitter
And when I came home I shone
