Contemplations

I represent at all times
Never take a day off
Now I feel the pressure
Lord, come and take the weight off
I mostly stay to myself and that's cool 'til my mind is the enemy I've got to push through
It took too long for me to get here just to get scared when I'm standing at the door
I'm comfortable on the porch
But humbly I approach the throne of Your grace
I don't wanna waste the opportunity to give You the praise
Now where would I be without ya
Probably the same place that You found me the first time
Drunk, high, blind
Dying inside
Full of pride and envy; empty
But the joy I found in You
You kept me
Cleansed me
Now You sent me to tell of Your goodness
Everything that I write is to serve as witness
Repentance is a dish best served in love
If any other motive's with it, please burn it up
The door before me looms large and ominous
No more running 'cause You made me promises
You never change
All my hope it hangs on the words You say
You are not a liar
I'm inspired in spite of my faults, short-comings and past sins
You looked past them, called them past tense
My passion is to pay you back knowing that I can't, but yo my life is Yours
And in exchange, You said You'd give me Yours
Selfishness is aborted
I can't take it to the other side of the door
I dropped it on the porch
The next level's is tense, intimidating and dense with opposition, temptation
I'm infiltrating Satan's patrons
This is a war cry
No more lies
Let my people go
The truth that makes us free is liberating people's souls so we can grow deeper in Christ
You peeped the glow
That's my burning light putting devils to flight
Don't think it strange these perilous times
The pens of the prophets of old warned us a long time ago that this day was coming
We should have known that this day was coming
