Ode to Black Eve Poem

There is, so much beauty across the seas
The wonder of the stars and sky I
Know that Gods power cannot be surpassed or even matched
So he himself must have possessed himself
To make something so beautiful

In the, awkwardness of her elegance I find perfection
And sound, sound becomes music in the presence of her off-beat rhythm
Happiness was born in her smile
And I am convinced that I am dreaming

She carries her so called flaws with her in a
Travel bag no bigger than a purse
I've personally seen her hand out imperfections
Which transformed into improvements
In the hands of a lesser being
I'll never forget the day where she grew tired of those quote on quote
Black scars that covered her entire body she said it was
Unfair that she should have so many
So she tore them off one by one
Passing them out among a people that received in their hand
Beauty marks

Her scars became beauty marks
Her awkwardness became elegance
Her smile gave birth to happiness
And I am convinced that I am dreaming
So I ask you, woman of my dreams
Would you mind
If I took a minute and told you just how much I could never tell you
How beautiful you are
I could try for a lifetime and I'd never get past her eyes
If God saw fit to bring me back
2, 3 more times after that I might make it to her smile
If I hurried she is so much more than beautiful
Beauty is her child
Perfection is jealous
Because it knows that it is, only a word made to describe her

The great mind couldn't think of anything besides her name
So, she remains the standard
The greatest gift I ever gave her was a mirror in an attempt
To show her the greatest gift she ever gave me
She is the first queen before time was time and I was her king
I gave her everything
But I could never tell her how beautiful she was
At the most I could try
I could never tell her how beautiful she was
But at least I could tell her why
