Too lazy to be a nice guy

It's hard to be honest
In these dishonest times.
A sage mans words are lost
By the deceits of all mankind.
I scream and holler
To anyone passing by.
I guess I'm just too lazy,
Never knew the reason why...

There are a million other voices
But I'm not the one they chose,
I've been out giving you choices
But I'm back singing the blues.
But if you think I'm done
You just might be surprised,
'Cause I'm too lazy to be a nice guy.

It takes a great amount of pressure
And don't forget plenty of guile,
To maneuver though this contemporary
Never ending online trial.
I let myself be carried towards my ultimate demise,
The more I dig the less I find.

Now you might think I'm a quitter,
And maybe that's the truth,
But why seek acceptance
If it doesn't make you feel good.
And if you think I'm craving
Some attention from the public eye,
I'm too lazy to be a nice guy.

There's got to be more to life then this!

We bleed for what we want.
The scars are there for all to see
