Sinnett Chapel

Off an old dirt road, outside of a nowhere town
Stands a broken down church, been awhile since anybody's come around
Was built in 1884 The bell tower rings no more, lost so much faith through time

Well that 1800 dirt road country service church
Shelter of a poet in a worn down tattered ol' t-shirt
The township tried to close it down, but in an empty space an ounce of faith was found

With a debt for faith, you'll pay for standing up
And only time will tell, when your blessing, it'll come

Well that little one room church, middle of nowhere, Fulton County has
A broken window, and vandalism upon it, so Sinnett Chapel stands tall in all his glory
And if them walls could, man, they'd tell some stories

Well that 1800 dirt road country service church
Shelter of a poet in a worn down tattered ol' t-shirt
The township tried to close it down, but in an empty space an ounce of faith was found
