Museum
The hottest February day on record
I called you up and then I wrote this poem
Took all the things in all of the museums
And sized it up to see if it still glowed
I guess I just thought you should know
But if you find a new reason to leave here
Don't lie awake just thinking how to go
Hey it's alright, hey it's alright believe me
I will not fight or make it hard
I won't
I guess I just thought you should know
I've hope
But they are still promising snow
I called you up and then I wrote this poem
Took all the things in all of the museums
And sized it up to see if it still glowed
I guess I just thought you should know
But if you find a new reason to leave here
Don't lie awake just thinking how to go
Hey it's alright, hey it's alright believe me
I will not fight or make it hard
I won't
I guess I just thought you should know
I've hope
But they are still promising snow
