The Window
Sitting patiently, by the looking glass.
Envisioning a world outside,
separate from the one, you know.
Intrigued to seek the noose,
that's on the floor by the stool,
next to the dream in the looking glass.
Open my eyes, pour in the light,
take in the pure and give into the fight.
Everyone goes, and everyone knows,
finding yourself, in the window,
is a struggle by the means,
as they pull you by the strings,
and they keep you from the truth,
as they lift you up,
just to watch you die.
Envisioning a world outside,
separate from the one, you know.
Intrigued to seek the noose,
that's on the floor by the stool,
next to the dream in the looking glass.
Open my eyes, pour in the light,
take in the pure and give into the fight.
Everyone goes, and everyone knows,
finding yourself, in the window,
is a struggle by the means,
as they pull you by the strings,
and they keep you from the truth,
as they lift you up,
just to watch you die.
