Little Black Bird

Oh little black bird, what have you done to me?
You came so far north to see how it all could be
From the Cape up to the land, down to the ocean
From our mountains till the point, you didn't feel any older
And you fly over the waves, to see how it could feel to fly again
Oh little black bird, why do you follow me?
I swear there's nothing peculiar about me
From the Cape up to the top of the land, where the air grows thinner
Your little wings flap harder still, till you reach the end
When you touch the ground, you feel oh just like me
And you jump over the edge, to see how it could feel to fly again
