Minor Issues

Spray tags on the wall
Chewing gums on sidewalk
For a long time they will stay
Rain won't wash them all away

Sometimes these minor issues
Are the hardest to dispose
Oddly still sometimes i miss you
Even tho the case is closed

Oh no, I'm going this road again
But I know we won't stay the same in the end
With every step we take
We're leaving our past in haze

I know that every mistake we made
One day will simply fade away with the dust
Got eaten by the rust
Or quickly dissolve in grey

I know that this is the time of my life
Pink clouds are floating around the skyline
I'm taking day off to catch up with the things
That tomorrow will bring
Cause I don't wanna break my strings

its a middle of the night
you can hear me passing by
no one on passenger seat
blasting mix off spotify

am i giving up the fight?
staring blindly at the sky
don't know yet where to end up
hard to get me satisfied

there's something about july
rarely sober usually high
one day i was on the moon
it's too hard though to describe

more to me than meets the eye
dreamin' till the day i die
come with me and take a flight
jumpin' straight across the line
