The Stargazer

Wandering over to the pond, I sit in wonder by her side
The lily pads gently rolling with the motion of the tide
Pondering my fate, I sit and gaze at the reflection on the water
The myriad of stars dance to form their constellations
Fervent am I that their movements are in relation
Suddenly, a large catlike beast with gills and scales emerges just beyond the great lunar surface
Not one, but three traveling in succession
Vibrating at great speed they drift in a singular direction
My eyes ever weary and world ever so dreary, I make way for my spirit to travel upward
Into the abyss, my astral body onward
