My Grave

I don't remember the struggle
Of walking it alone
It's been so long now I
Can't even imagine you gone
I've heard people say
They gave 20 long years
And with passing time
All wounds will be healed
But that is them
Was never supposed to be us
In my mind there was never room
For pessimistic thought
Since day one when I vowed

I used to be kept in a region
