I started up in Stockholm
And ended in the heart of Rome
A culinary detour
In a land of haute couture
My stomach screams "It's lunchtime"
At Campo de Flori - the square of food
The antipasti's sublime
The sauces built on ancient blood feuds
I'm here - to grow

Like Bacchus and his mates I feel a party coming on
Prosecco and spaghetti
Lasagna sinked with Amaretto
Risotto and Chianti
And Tiramisu makes me drool
The dawn breaks over Tiber
On the southern shore walks a happy man
Full of food in every fiber
The final dish in my master plan
I need some ravioli
I could even eat some cannoli

My gluttony arrivederci
