Hypocritic
I bet you thought no one would call you out
On the bullshit you've been spewing
I see you advocating for "rights" of the people
But people is you and you're not always right
I've got nothing against being vocal
I vocalise my thoughts all the time
But you cant seem to see the web your weaving is catching bad attention and not flies
Taking governmental money, to buy yourself a new toy
Then bashing the ones you got it from
You're a child dressed as change, Motivated by ulteriors
But you're wasting all our time so go home
You're just a hippo critic, small town critic
Pedestalling your bias as hard core facts
You can have your view I have mine too
But if you spreading "news" in the name of truth
That doesn't sit well with me
And if that contradictors the world you see
Picking fights jumping fences lounging in politicians backyards
Your agenda gendered by forced minority and wish to show to world who you are
I agree there are still issues to be solved and I won't fight you on need for equity
But you aren't the amalgamation of them all and you aren't the face of equality
Taking pennies from the poor because poor you hasn't got it all
When you're the one undermines the system
You cant have it both ways, the doll and conflicting hate
When I work 3 jobs to keep my self in school
You're a hippo critic, pushing limits
Crying when somebody calls you out
You can have your view I have mine too
But if your pretending your oppressed for views
That doesn't fit well with me
And if that contradicts the world you see
You can add me to the list of things you hate
Cynicism isn't a trait I get irate when opinions are used simply to debate the word of Someone with social power, Now the power is in my words, here in my verse I don't Want to be rude
But I want to address the elephant in the room that oppression I've never truly viewed or Been a victim of
Is that a gift from god or simply circumstantial, we can't help how were born
Lucky my words how power so I can inspire the next generation to grow up all Empowered and not segratory
They can live the story they dream, if we provide the means and all kids the genes of Love hope, kindness and equality
Do you understand that what I mean is not to be ignorant or intolerant just to call out the crap as I see it
I can't help but believe that activism isn't for you or me, but for those who can't be active At countering the mean
Or speaking out against those with authority
Isn't that what martin Luther dreamed?
To speak out against poverty and segratory rules that stop the access
I'd like to address to be an activist you have to be active in changing the norm
So that when the world is taken by a storm we just get wet and not blown to pieces
I've said my piece and now the choice is yours
To not be a, hippo critic selfish cynic
But change the world one word at a time
You've had your fun now please be done
And help join the fight against a bigger crime
There's enough hypocritic, morally picky
Corporations running the world today
I'm sick see of seeing the world be driven
By change that benefits capitalist gain
That would be the way to me
And if that contradicts the world you see
You can add me to the list of things you hate
On the bullshit you've been spewing
