The Climb

Picking up the pieces of where I left off
Something stirs inside me to start again
I've watched from shadows long enough
It's time for action from within

Spiraling a stairway is exhausting
But the higher I climb the higher my mind

I begin again, one step ahead
My muscles are conditioned for the climb

The cave is warm and comforting
Air is damp and nourishing
Rejuvenating my body
Fire circulating through my veins

I begin again, one step ahead
My muscles are conditioned for the climb

Senses awaken to the heart's delight
Flowing through a river of change
The stairway is giving way
To the current of a stream

I begin again, one step ahead
My muscles are conditioned for the climb
I begin again, one step ahead
My muscles are conditioned for the climb
For the climb
For the climb
For the climb
For the climb
