I'll Get There

I sit here and try to write a tune, to tell you a tale you've never heard before
I write of fear, hope, and love, but soon again it fades before me
I won't say I don't have my doubts. No, this time I won't lie to you
I can't just sing a song or play my way out to the end of my own story

I feel adrift, and stagnancy seeping in
With the endings all ending, where do you begin?
