Momma I gotta thank ya couldn't of been easy
Putting up with me and three of my brothers
Did so much for us you were so selfless
Come home from work and I know you be tired
You'd still make us dinner and help us with homework
Didn't have to do it but you did it for us
Stayed with my father and even through trauma
Ya'll never got divorced
What an effect that would've had on us
Lot of kids ain't have a mother and father
Every Sunday you took us to service
Said God who we serving you gotta put him first
I can remember when I was younger
Being in school and failing my classes
You came and sat in em man that was embarrassing
Know you only did that cause you love me godly
You really had set the example
How to worship the God that we live for
You were prayerful it showed me God really does come thru
If anybody prayed for me it was you
Got a lot of pain that I been going through
It just feel like my life in a frenzy
I remember I'd tell you about it
And you would just sit there and listen

Gifts for Christmas bike rides sledding
Got my first whip and you taught me to drive it
Searched for my calling and you were supportive
Concerts games you were there all the way
Said whatever your passion is that's what you chase

Gave me equipment learned how to use it
You told me your gifts are also for others and not for you only
