The Girl in the Sea

She was utterly breathtaking
Run wild, time itself stopped to witness her
I stood there, ankle deep in the bitter cold
Unable to peel my eyes off her
My soul swelled with immeasurable love
In time with the waves that crashed into, into the atmosphere

So thick I could taste it
Wine, salt, tears, rain, and love
Frozen there in admiration
I thought of my beloved moon

How it's power and its brilliance always captivated me
Even it entranced by the girl
How could we; the moon and I
ever speak some words to match her beauty?
There was only a sigh
