Bound

Westbound,
The waves they feel like home,
And time, it stretches till it's torn
And your smile did haunt me for so long
It still shines
Way too much, way too strong
So I watched the sea for a long time,
And one day I was gone

Eastbound,
The storms, they pushed me forth
They laughed and danced around my horse
We didn't fight,
We simply parted ways, that's all
I stroked your skin,
To hide you in my heart for good
And I watched the plain for a long time
And one day, I was gone

Southbound,
The girls, they seem to glow
Like fire, obsidian, and the Moon
Has no place in those days of sorrow
The Sun dries tears
And keeps hearts from the cold
Oh it felt like that for a long time,
And then I was gone

Northbound,
My heart and soul, they froze,
Like rivers when nights last for months
But your voice, it kept melting ice and snow
And my eyes, they wouldn't shut anymore
Oh it felt like that for a long time,
And then I was gone.
