Hanging On

I've never seen this before
I'm usually in control of ever step I take
I've told myself this before
But now it's too late
My heads in kind of a haze
I've pondered it for days how to let this go
Just thought that it was a faze
But I don't know

But then I see your face, lately
It's like I can't escape the thoughts within
And now I'm outa place and weary
I'll just keep living my life vicariously

As if it wasn't enough
Can't find the will to admit what needs to be done
And if that isn't enough, all my friends suck
I had my first day at work
I lied about my skills so now I'm a clerk
So when you add it all up, ya my friends still suck

But then I see your face, lately
It's like I can't escape the thoughts within
And now I'm outa place and weary
I'll just keep living my life vicariously
At least I found a way, maybe
To visualize what my life it could've been
I guess you got what it takes to save me
So I'll keep hanging on so precariously
Ya, I'll just keep hanging on, oh ya
I'll just keep hanging on
