Whenever I find it hard to read my bible every day
Or even pray
I compare it to wash day
Clearing out my whole day
To maintain these 4c roots
I love my hair
So I take care to
Shampoo, blowdry, detangle
Sometimes it's hard
But essential
And I will suffer the consequence
If I don't have consistence
So how can I expect to grow if I ain't watering my soul
Please make it make sense
Even my mum always said
Girl don't forget to

Comb from the tips
But don't forget them roots
Use that castor, tea tree and shea b
On your scalp on a daily
So it don't get flaky
Pack 'em in cornrows
As you await that big fro
Just as you maintain them roots
You too need spiritual food to grow
But growth is slow
Start with faith; it's all you need
As little as a mustard seed
Is enough to move mountains

Photosynthesis begun

This blessings heaven-sent
Ignorance ain't bliss

See, Jesus Christ give him a try cos He's chef's kiss
