Exit Point

As a child, I would dream
Of far stars
That would call on me

Astral glades
Hail my name
Voices edicted that I come nearer

Approached slow, is what I did
To a face of total facsimile
A smile smirk lite her lips
I then asked what will you gain from me

Silent focused intent unseen
Knowledge to simply be
True self that lay in wait
Sleeping at the exit point

She then rose
Lifted her hand
Placed two fingers
On the bridge of my brow

Vagaries visions
Of far worlds
Eclipsed my eyes with
Endless opportunity

I swam jade seas
Supper white air
Sat on peaks
With any compare
A slim smirk lite her lip
And then she asked what will you gain from me

Silent focused intent unseen
Knowledge to simply be
True self that lay in wait
Sleeping at the exit point
