As The World Turns

Sometimes the
Sun shines
Sometimes
The rain pours
Through it all
Don't loose your smile
Pray that you can find
Your happiness consistently
Through passing time
We learn to gain perspective...
Children crossing the river as this is written
Parents thinking the grass is greener
When some of the obstacles and hardships
Really remain the same In the united states
Compared to the country you want your kids to escape
The only ones striving boil down to
About two percent just take a stroll
On skid row... Philly minus while be Tijuana
The danger n young dying just as deadly as the place they want their kids to flee
At least Canada the health care is free
And you might be treated like a human being
Americas promise of A dream that no longer exists
They tell me to move but those western civilization roots and philosophies
As wicked in the rest of the world
As it is here and that's a global pandemic

As the world turns
Through any storm
The strength of our spirit
Rises. No wind can hold us back as we Stand as One
A beacon of light
As the sun sets
We gonna make it through the night

The deception of power clouds the mind
When kids bruised egos lead to columbines
High power mags leaving massive bodys without life
The insanity of gun control got bullets
Continuously making holes into the next TORSO
The deception of power plagues the world
HATE pulls a trigger when only love can heal as a man
The deception of toughness ruins to many souls
Until there is no more feeling and the only thing left inside is a lost soul
Taught young you can never let your compassion show
Because a real man is like a rugged bull
Couldn't nothing be farther from the truth
But the perception of man diluted by the deception of power
That humans really think they control. What are we but dust in the wind
Gods children but the vanity of the world takes hold
It ain't about black or white because were human
I hope we see the light before its ruined
It's takes a village more people in unionism
Unity in diversity
Weren't all put on earth to be the same but at the end of the day we all bleed from Similar veins

The south trying to take it back to jim crow laws
Suppressing the voice and rights making it harder to vote
Can't get no water while in a line... inhumane ways bred into their confederate flags
Too evolved as humans to let that hatred continue we rebuke that wickedness
And have integrity to uphold The promise of every voice being accounted for
Democracy fades when the land of the free
Turns into a communist state disguised as capitalism
Too many in cells
Too many lifes wasted just to fund prison owners pockets
Caged like animals
To many fall guys
Living in hell for crimes they didn't commit
Home of the brave
That's why in the face of adversity we stand up straight
Americans removing that wool over their eyes and
Speaking out against the grain
The same old same old not working today
The power is in the people
The real control is in us and the power to stand as ONE
