About the People

See work is hard, but people are harder
There's a hundred emotions hidden behind the lighter smiles
They'd rather you see this they'd rather see you do that
You need to start to learn to read up in between the lines
Trust in words but where's the value when the
Tongue is open game who's insane
When the public change of heart happens like a
Switch in blames pointing all the fingers
At the hypocrites, but life is like a circus
Stuck in the mirror mazes do you feel the shift
In the time and shift in lives the shift in eyes
And the shift denies the very kind
Of humans to be telling the lies
Its a broken system that we keep on patching up
Sacrifices racking but blood just ain't
Enough for your convincing
How many more handles I pull out of my back
Until it stops hurting when is it love and
Not attack how many people do
I need to make believe in my stories
When does one's opinions turn to facts

I'm far from innocent to make the
Righteous sentences uh sanctimony's
Fleeting im just painting out the sentiments
No Surprise we're all sinners by the element
I guess Im taking third person eloquence
Whoever said that people are good and evil
I find its a little more complex
Its so much easier to read in black and white
But what defines protagonists who's wrong and right
When a profit's a profit, who's to play
The prophet wise
It was all about meteoric rise
Love for the money, but lust for the game
People turn to hyena's in a day
We're animals so how much can we add them all
Does it make me a plaster saint to try
And move out and make the narrator's place
Amongst the wild and brave
I have none of that I'm just tryna check find my ways
Back home
I've flown too far south
The streets are scary
But it's people that catch me out
It's the people that'll scare me
