Found, Restored

You transcend the heavens
Yet you bound yourself to our dimensions
Why should a life like yours yield itself to save the lost?
How could a love like mine be worth such a tremendous price?

Your glory is endless
Yet you conceal it in finite vessels
I should recognize the depths of your majesty
I could spend my whole life searching out your mysteries

And oh! what my eyes will see
Before creation you ordained me

Found, restored
Made whole by your love oh God
Found renewed
By your Spirit I'm one with you

Your love is unfathomed
Your design is for our true freedom
Only a love so great would pursue such calloused rebels
I choose to meet your gaze and let you seize my heart with your grace

And oh! what my eyes will see
Before creation you ordained me

Found, restored
Made whole by your love oh God
Found renewed
By your Spirit I'm one with you

Where can I go and escape you, God
Though darkness engulfs me you're still at my side
How could I make your Spirit depart
Set lightyears between us; you're still my guide
