WINTER

Just waiting for the rain to wash away the mud
And the grime, and the dirt, and the sludge like a a flood
But the winter froze the rain bringing hail from above
I can feel it in my soul, I can feel it in my blood

Got the vultures overhead scheming Looking like some demons creeping
Winter in America, got me feeling freezing
Coat of many colors so I manifest my dreaming
I stay unaffected, even in the winter beaming

From ear to ear, snow on the ground, I'm in atmosphere
Where the air is clear, up above the demons here
Forget the house, I can see my dreams from here
Head in the clouds avoiding all the wear and tear

Like winter coming for your soul
Like winter, might need a bigger coat
Like winter coming for your soul
Like winter, might need a bigger coat
Like winter coming for your soul
Like winter, might need a bigger coat
Like winter coming for your soul
Like winter, might need a bigger coat

Paint the words for you, this is poetry in motion
Flow in the bag, or the basket, like its lotion
I cant ride a wave, boutta ride the whole ocean
Put your hands up, bout to start a commotion

Or a riot. boutta kill it on the flow, but non-violent
Paccifist, deep in a pocket so you can never find it
Came from the earth, so I'm basically Osiris
If you still don't get it just close both your eyelids

And just sink into the sound, what you thinking now? Swim or drown
Got two ears one mouth, why you speaking now
Your flows the only thing sadder than a weeping clown
Speeding down the road in nothing but a sleeping gown

Like winter coming for your soul
Like winter, might need a bigger coat
Like winter coming for your soul
Like winter, might need a bigger coat
Like winter coming for your soul
Like winter, might need a bigger coat
Like winter coming for your soul
Like winter, might need a bigger coat
