Freckle

The sun left so many kisses on her skin
He told her that to hide them would be a great big sin
From head to toe, those beams would show
Because she always glows like a big bright window

He liked to count them before he'd go to sleep
Brushing his hands across her spotted ivory
Soft to the touch, sweet to the taste
But he knew that she'd never be a piece of cake

And when her patience ran thin
He'd kiss his favourite freckle
That laid on her lips

The golden hour spilled across her face
Seeing that was almost more than he could take
The way the light hit her was a beautiful sight
Enough to make him want to start a fight

And when her patience ran thin
He'd kiss his favourite freckle
That laid on her lips

And when her patience ran thin
He'd kiss his favourite freckle
Laid on her lips

And when her patience ran thin
He'd kiss his favourite freckle
That laid on her lips
