Thirties

I used to wanna stay out all night
And drink the bar dry
Wearing clothes just a little too tight
And no high heels were ever too high

Friends come around
Turn the music up loud
Knowing all the dance moves
Doing what I like
Still riding my bike and thinking I was cool

21 felt so young
25 was kinda fun
27 feeling cool
29 came all to soon

Now I'm in my thirties
And I'm a little less flirty
These days, a real good time is watching a band with a bottle of wine
I like comfy shoes, can't stay out late
My hangovers last for three days straight (straight)
But I don't care
My twenties were good, but I've kind of been there

Looking back through photographs I can't believe
There was no such thing as hitting the gym
And pizza is all I'd eat
I didn't need no beauty sleep
Always losing track of time
Getting home at 5:00 a.m
And still ready for work at nine
