Damage Control

Maybe I can learn to see through,
all the cracks that I have walked into
Contemplate on all the things I maybe shouldn't have done

In times when I feel lonely and it's hard to even get up slowly
I think of the powers that show when I had enough

So try and lay me down
and hold me to the ground

This is damage control calling out,
a voice that speaks to lonely souls
who's out there on their own
You may be in another town, another life in a different time
In the end we're all the same, some things we can't mend,
that makes us human

Knowing all is how it should be when there's only chaos around me
Makes me doubt and question the meaning

In the second you hit rock bottom take one more small step for me
And later on you'll know you did it all yourself

Bring it on, show it all, give it your best,
show us what you're made of

This is damage control sending out, a message to the lonely souls
who's out there on their own
You may be in another town, another life in a different time
In the end we're all the same, some things we can't mend
and that makes us human

In some time you'll find your path and hold it in your hands
You know when it's time to leave your old self behind

"This is damage control"

Set the clock, just get up,
show your value for everyone you stumble upon

This is damage control calling out,
a voice that speaks to the lonely souls
who's out there on their own
You may be in another town, another life in a different time
In the end we're all the same, some things we can't mend,
that makes us human
