King of the Crooks

The camera swivels its head as I'm running away
The bell is so lonely it can't think of quite what to say
The dogs are like children they just wanna go out and play
The criminals sleep

I still remember the days when I was afraid
that I'd always be straight
When the man comes around he'll be holding the crown
for the king of the crooks

Now that my hang-ups are gone
They're finally out of the way
I can be guilty-free me
I won't be worried today
I'll open windows at night
And take the milk out the fridge
I'll tell my parents a fib of pardoned felonies.
