Our First Anniversary

The snowflakes are falling so quietly to the ground
A cool December day, I'm kinda feeling down
Today's our anniversary, it's only been one year
I just can't help but wonder, what we'd do if you'd be here

Would we go climb the Rockies, together just you and I?
Or lay beneath the stars, the big Montana sky?
Would we go to Texas, or see the shining sea?
Or would we just stay at home, all alone just you and me?

Would there be a miracle perched up in her high-chair?
Looking like her mother, with flowing blonde hair?
Mommy's blue-eyed angel, and daddy's little girl
Making him the proudest man in all the whole world?

Would we be driving down a long, winding interstate
Watching the western sky, as the sun closes the day?
Would mommy be driving the car, the angel in daddy's lap
Singing, "Jesus Loves Me" as she slips into her nap?

Listening to the angels with Jesus by your side?
