We're The Monkeys

I adapt myself as well as I can
I'm an animal living amongst modern man
I put on my man suit and learn how to dance
I'm just an animal who thinks he's a man

But, the language you speak is advanced
And too much for me to learn
So I sit by myself with my hand on myself
And think of how different things could be
If you could understand me

I fashioned a modest tool out of wood
It's been a long day of searching for food
I put that stick a stump and coax some ants out
I hope nobody see me put them in my mouth

But, the language you speak is advanced
And too much for me to learn
So I sit by myself with my hand on myself
And think of how different things could be
If I wasn't me
