Too many times I would pray to God
And not really really mean it
I was so full of sin that I couldn't see it
Even times when my life was saved
From disease and decay
God still let me see another day

Maybe I won't start that far back

About the time I gave my life to the Lord
But not completely I had one foot out the door
And I couldn't understand why
Why it was hard for me to hear His voice every time
And when it was time for me to say I do
I had to clue what a husband's supposed to do
How he's supposed to cover his wife
Leave the outside world at the door and give his life
But the outside world crept in
And it all fell apart because of our sins
But I own it God I should have leaned on You

2019 Through 2021
I've fought some battles but those battles were won
From my health to my mind
And spiritual battles they shot me like gun
But I had to ask the Lord please change my heart
Draw me closer to Him and that's a start
To take the first step to my true destiny
To be the man I'm suppose to be
With both feet in it's time to begin
This journey that I'm on I realize that I'm human
That I'll sin from time to time
But I'm getting stronger in the Lord
And I cannot afford to go without Him ever again
And walk the road less traveled I'm all in
