Judith

There lived in the Land of Judea
A widow honored and adored
She stayed in a tent on a rooftop, sackcloth and ashes she wore

Every day she would fast and pray
Her beauty shined like The Sun
Filled with silver and gold, riches untold
But her wisdom and knowledge surpassed that

There lived a woman from Jericho
Some called her Rahab others called her
A whore. And she risked her own life
And hid the two spies, she said I know
That Your God is alive!...

Cause we heard stories bout how He made The Red Sea dry!
How He swallowed up The Mistrites and all of them died!
So please swear to me upon The Name of Your Lord!
Save my whole house by this scarlet cord!

There was a woman rendering judgement
She sat all day beneath a Palm tree
There was sin within Israel, so we we were sold
To The King Jabin

And in those days she sent out and she called out for Barak!
She said take ten thousand men all of your kin and watch 'em drop!
For he shall give you victory and write your name on mountaintops!
He said only of you go with me, then I'll know that its YAH!
