The Sound of Snow Falling

轻 轻， 落 在 我 掌 心，
Qīng qīng, luò zài wǒ zhǎngxīn,
Softly falling into the hollow of my palm,

静静，在掌中结冰。
jìng jìng, zài zhǎngzhōng jié bīng.
resting frozen in the center of my palm

相逢，是前世注定，
Xiāngféng, shì qiánshì zhùdìng,
Our meeting across past incarnations was inevitable,

痛并，把快乐尝尽。
tòng bìng, bǎ kuàilè cháng jǐn.
joined together,
deeply experiencing and holding onto the end of happiness

明明，话那么寒心，
Míngmíng, huà nàme hánxīn,
Though plainly given words of discouragement,

假装，那只是叮咛。
jiǎzhuāng, nà zhǐshì dīngníng.
pretending to hear nothing but exhortation

泪尽，也不能相信，
Lèi jǐn, yě bùnéng xiāngxìn,
Endless tears, believing it can't be true

此 生，如 纸 般 薄 命。
cǐshēng, rú zhǐ bān bómìng.
In this life, being born under an unlucky star

我慢慢地听，雪落下的声音，
Wǒ màn man de tīng, xuě luòxià de shēngyīn,
I hear the sound of the snow slowly falling

闭着眼睛幻想它不会停，
bì zhuó yǎnjīng huànxiǎng tā bù huì tíng,
Though I close my eyes, it's impossible to stop the vision,

你没法靠近，决不是太薄情，
nǐ méi fǎ kàojìn, jué bùshì tài bóqíng,
nothing you can do about being
approached, not being inconsistent in love

只是贪恋窗外的好风景。
zhǐshì tānliàn chuāngwài de hǎo fēngjǐng.
though merely holding onto it from the
outside, prone to this sort of circumstance.

我慢慢地品，雪落下的声音，
Wǒ màn man de pǐn, xuě luòxià de shēngyīn,
I hear the sound of the snow slowly falling,

仿佛是你贴着我叫卿卿，
fǎngfú shì nǐ tiēzhe wǒ jiào qīng qīng,
as though you are holding me closely, and speaking sweetly,

睁开了眼睛，漫天的雪无情
zhēng kāile yǎnjīng, màntiān de xuě wúqíng
Opening your eyes to a sky filled with merciless snow falling

谁来赔这一生的好光景？
shéi lái péi zhè yīshēng de hǎo guāngjǐng?
