Where It Goes

I can feel the wind change over me
I can see the void of my eternity

All of my thoughts
Screaming at once
Sometimes it gets too loud
When life's moving fast
Running from my past
All I can do is sit down
And see where it goes

Try to hold on to a long breath
Fill a dark hole into my chest
Watch it expand and contort
High on a hill you can see me
Survey the earth for some meaning
To it all

All of my thoughts
Screaming at once
Sometimes it gets too loud
When life's moving fast
Running from my past
All I can do is sit down
And see where it goes

Some days it works and I feel like a stone
Sitting so quiet that time starts to slow
But sometimes my soul gets lost in a maze
That I crawl myself out of for days and days and days
