Self Reflection

It's essential to find out why you think, say and do certain things
In order to elevate yourself man
You gotta ask yourself questions about your values
You gotta assess your own strengths and weaknesses
And be real with yourself
Think about your perceptions and how you interact with other people
And imagine where you wanna take your life in the future
Self Reflection

The first half of my life was about self destruction
A ticking time bomb, walking spontaneous combustion (Boom!)
That really ain't give a fuck about no repercussions
No small talk, don't speak to me if you ain't speaking substance
Cause I'm tryna change the hood, I'm tryna get paid (C'mon)
Remember passing out my mixtapes in 11th grade (C'mon)
Just did a show at The Masquerade, oh I'm the shit now (It's lit!)
Over 10,000 hours in, why would I quit now?
These contracts is official like fuck your handshake (Uh huh)
Young Mansa Mussa bout to conquer all I can take (Uh huh)
It's all gas my nigga, we don't pump no damn breaks
I learned by trial and error trying to build up this fan base (C'mon)
I got the streets on lock, I done got it sewed up (C'mon)
More Life track 18, Deuce you done glowed up
I spoke this shit into existence, then we went the distance
Talent don't mean shit if your ass refuse to stay consistent

Started off with nothing and turned it into this (Uh huh)
I did this here on my own, ain't nobody give me shit
The next time y'all sit and debate I bet I'll make the list
Inspiring people through the music is the reason I exist (Ooo!)
You better find your purpose while you living life
This wasn't easy, for this lifestyle had to sacrifice (Uh huh)
A lot of hungry days and more sleepless nights
Now it's steak lobster and wine on first class flights (Haha)
Why you mad? I'm in my bag
I ran it up, you in the same position
Cool that shit down, New Edition
Don't get your ass hurt over sneak dissin' (Brrt)
Snakes in the grass I hear 'em hissin'
It ain't my fault you refuse to listen
I mapped this shit out, I gave you the blueprint
It ain't my fault you ain't pay attention
Been preaching the same sermon for years (Hallelujah)
And slowly watched the nonbelievers disappear
Never took an L in life, I count it all as lessons
Thank God for my blessings, start my morning off with self reflections
